(Kitco News) – The gold price is static ahead at the EU open holding at $1878.50 per ounce. Silver trading just under flat at $26.18. Once again sentiment in the Asia-Pac region was mixed as the Nikkei 225 (-0.45%) and ASX (-0.27%) fell but the Shanghai Composite pushed higher by 1.05%.
