BoE’s Haldane talks tapering

(Kitco News) – The Bank of England’s Andy Haldane has commented on the U.K.’s move out of the coronavirus pandemic. Interestingly the Chief Economist at the bank said the BoE may need to start turning off the stimulus tap. As a reminder, Haldane voted last month to cut the Bank’s £895 billion QE programme by £50 billion in light of the UK’s recovery prospects.
