Barrick, Zijin Strike Up A Partnership In PNG
Giant gold producer Barrick Gold Corp. (TSX:ABX)(NYSE:ABX) and Chinese diversified miner Zijin Mining Group Co. Ltd., have partnered up after the companies announced Zijin’s 50% acquisition of Barrick (Niugini) Ltd., which is the 95% owner of the Porgera joint venture gold mine in Papua New Guinea.
