Gold Gains, But Bulls Face Key Resistance Hurdles

(Kitco News) – Gold futures are climbing higher in early Monday action, boosted by a renewed bout of fears regarding Greece’s future within the eurozone.

The short-term, intraday technical pattern is weak for gold and unless gold bulls can surmount resistance in the $1,195-$1,197 zone the hourly trend pattern will remains a bearish weight on the yellow metal. See Figure 1 below.
