Russian gold mining giant Polyus switches to renewables
(Kitco News) – Polyus (LSE, MOEX: PLZL), Russia’s largest and one of the largest gold mining companies globally, today announced that it has signed an agreement for the supply of environmentally friendly electricity generated by the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydropower plant with RusHydro, a major Russian hydroelectricity supplier.
